Good news. After two unsuccessful attempts, one of the mentors confirmed she has time for mentoring me. We arranged the time for our first meeting in her library.

The meeting was much more helpful than I expected.  I emailed the draft of my PPDP before the meeting. We talked in details about portfolio, advisory course, JISC mail, CV, selected courses for my PPDP, sources for self-study, library visits, future plans, and my blog. I have received some very good advice. Mentor log would be one of the evidences which I should submit.

At the end of our rather long meeting, we signed the mentor agreement. I have a lot to do but I am more confident, somewhat clearer than before. It would be challenging though.
